PuppyFocus Affiliate Privacy Notice
This notice explains how PuppyFocus handles information about affiliate applicants, approved creators, and referred transactions. It supplements the general PuppyFocus Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Application information: name, creator name, email, country or region, channel URLs, audience description, and promotion plan.
- Agreement and compliance records: agreement version, acceptance date, program notices, disclosure reviews, content URLs, and dispute correspondence.
- Payment and tax records: payout method, recipient identifier, payment status, invoices or tax records when reasonably required, and provider transaction references.
- Referral records: Creator Code, referral events, pseudonymous app account token, transaction identifiers, product, dates, storefront, attribution status, Apple proceeds, refunds, reversals, and commission calculations.
- Website information: ordinary server, security, and analytics data generated when the affiliate pages are visited or a form is submitted.
Do not send a passport, national identity card, full bank statement, password, or one-time code through the application form or ordinary email. If Wise, PayPal, or another provider requires identity verification, complete it directly with that provider whenever possible.
2. Why we use the information
- review applications and communicate approval decisions;
- prepare and administer the Affiliate Agreement;
- assign Creator Codes and attribute qualified transactions;
- calculate, validate, report, and pay commissions;
- detect fraud, self-referral, duplication, security issues, and policy violations;
- respond to questions, disputes, and legal or tax recordkeeping requirements; and
- improve the pilot through aggregated performance reporting.
3. Sources
Information comes from you, your public creator channels, PuppyFocus website and app systems, Apple StoreKit and App Store financial records, approved payment providers, and communications relating to the program.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell affiliate personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, email, analytics, Apple platform, accounting, legal, tax, Wise, PayPal, or other approved service providers only as needed to run the program, meet obligations, or protect the program from abuse.
5. International processing
The program may involve creators and service providers in multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence, subject to available contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and the pilot's scale.
6. Retention
- Unsuccessful applications are normally retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is needed for a dispute, consented future contact, security, or legal obligation.
- Agreement, transaction, commission, payment, tax, and dispute records may be retained for the applicable legal, accounting, tax, and limitation periods.
- Fraud-prevention records may be retained as reasonably necessary to prevent repeated abuse.
7. Security and data minimization
We limit access to people and providers who need the information, use pseudonymous customer identifiers for referral attribution, and avoid collecting consumer payment credentials. No internet or email system is completely secure, so applicants should provide only the information requested.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, or request a portable copy. Some information must be kept to complete payments, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or satisfy legal and accounting obligations. You may withdraw an application before approval by contacting us.
9. Referred customers
Affiliates receive aggregated or transaction-level commission reporting needed to explain earnings, but do not receive a referred customer's name, email, Apple Account, payment credentials, or private focus data. Affiliates must not attempt to identify referred users from program reporting.
10. Children
The affiliate program is not intended for people who cannot legally enter the Affiliate Agreement in their jurisdiction. Do not submit an application if you lack legal capacity to participate.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the pilot or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated to active affiliates where appropriate. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@puppyfocusapp.com.
