Pilot policy

PuppyFocus Affiliate Program Rules

These Program Rules govern the invite-only PuppyFocus Affiliate Program pilot. They are incorporated into each approved affiliate's individual Affiliate Agreement. If an executed Affiliate Agreement conflicts with these Rules, the executed agreement controls for that affiliate.

1. Pilot scope

The first pilot is limited to up to 10 approved partners during an initial 60-day operating period. Applying does not guarantee approval. PuppyFocus may approve, decline, pause, or end participation in accordance with these Rules and the Affiliate Agreement.

3. Definitions

Affiliate

An individual or entity approved by PuppyFocus under an active Affiliate Agreement.

Creator Code

The unique referral code assigned to an Affiliate, including when embedded in an approved referral URL.

Qualified Transaction

A genuine paid purchase verified through Apple, attributed to an active Affiliate under these Rules, completed in the Production environment, and not excluded as a test, free trial, restored purchase, Family Sharing entitlement, self-referral, duplicate, fraud, refund, reversal, or chargeback.

Net Receipts

The proceeds actually attributable to a transaction after Apple commission, applicable taxes collected or withheld by Apple, discounts, credits, refunds, reversals, and similar deductions. Apple's Partner Share or equivalent App Store financial-report field controls whenever available. Earlier estimates are provisional.

4. Attribution

  1. Each Affiliate receives one primary Creator Code and an approved referral URL.
  2. A customer may claim or replace a code before their first verified paid PuppyFocus transaction.
  3. If multiple valid codes are claimed, the last valid code before the first paid transaction controls.
  4. The first paid transaction must occur within 30 days after the controlling claim.
  5. After the first verified paid transaction, attribution is locked for the applicable 12-month commission term.
  6. Campaign-link clicks are analytics evidence only and do not independently create commission entitlement.
  7. Existing free users may qualify if they have never completed a paid PuppyFocus transaction and claim the code before first payment.
  8. Existing or former paid customers, restored purchasers, and Family Sharing recipients do not qualify as new referred customers.

5. Commission calculation and adjustments

Eligible subscriptions earn 25% of Net Receipts on the first paid transaction and verified paid renewals within 12 months of that transaction. A qualified lifetime purchase earns one commission equal to 25% of Net Receipts.

If Apple refunds, reverses, charges back, or later adjusts a transaction, the related commission may be reduced, reversed, or offset against a future balance. No commission is due for unverified, fraudulent, self-referred, test, Sandbox, failed, duplicate, or non-compliant activity.

6. Validation, statements, and payout

  1. Commission estimates remain provisional until Apple records and financial reports are reconciled.
  2. A commission must normally be at least 30 days old before approval.
  3. Approved balances below USD 50 roll forward without interest.
  4. Affiliate payout and tax information must be complete and accurate before payment.
  5. Payment-provider, bank, or foreign-exchange fees may affect the amount received.
  6. Statement or attribution disputes must be submitted within 30 days after the statement date.

7. Promotion and disclosure requirements

8. Monitoring, suspension, and termination

PuppyFocus may review public promotional content and request evidence reasonably necessary to investigate attribution or compliance. A Creator Code may be paused while suspected fraud, impersonation, security risk, undisclosed advertising, or other material breach is investigated. Valid commissions completed before termination remain subject to normal validation; commissions tied to fraud or material breach may be withheld or reversed. After termination, the Creator Code cannot create new attribution claims, and later purchases or renewals do not create new commissions.

9. Changes

Material changes receive at least 14 days' written notice and apply prospectively. Changes do not retroactively reduce commissions already approved before the change takes effect, except where required by law or necessary to correct fraud, duplication, or manifest error.

Questions or disputes may be sent to info@puppyfocusapp.com.

These public Program Rules are operational terms, not legal or tax advice. Approved affiliates receive an individual agreement identifying the program operator and governing terms before promotion begins.
